1. When the actual junction temperature of the semiconductor power device is lower than the junction temperature when it is working, the electronic radiator with small volume and light weight shall be selected
2. The heat dissipation of the electronic radiator is closely related to the installation process. During installation, the contact area between the power device and the radiator should be increased as much as possible to reduce the contact thermal resistance
3. Try to reduce the contact thermal resistance. When installing, add a thin layer of thermal conductive silicone grease between the power device and the radiator to reduce the thermal resistance by 25~30%
4. During installation, heat conduction or insulation gasket shall be placed between the device and the electronic radiator. Low thermal resistance materials such as copper foil, aluminum foil or thin mica, polyester film, etc. are suitable
5. When installing a device, its mounting hole (or group hole) is placed at the center (L/2) of the radiator base surface. When two or more devices are installed, their mounting holes (or group holes) are located at the uniformly distributed (L/2n) position above the centerline of the base plane of the heat sink
6. When the electronic radiator is fastened to the components, it is necessary to ensure that the screw torque of each connection is consistent
7. After the electronic heat sink and electrical parts are installed, it is not appropriate to machine or reshape the electrical parts and heat sink, otherwise it will generate stress and increase the contact thermal resistance
8. The single-sided finned electronic heat sink is suitable for natural air cooling outside the equipment (such as installed outside the chassis), which is not only conducive to ventilation and heat dissipation of power devices, but also can reduce the temperature rise inside the machine
